We mark a milestone in the extraordinary history of the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center with the departure, in June 2016, of its longtime director and pediatrician in chief George Dover.

To honor him and to attach his name to a mission about which he has cared deeply throughout his training, clinical practice, research and leadership here, we are creating the George J. Dover, M.D., Pediatric Residency Leadership Fund. This fund will help enhance and strengthen our Harriet Lane Residency program for a new era of medicine and generation of trainees, and allow us to expand our teaching curriculum in advocacy, diversity/cultural competence, preventive and personalized medicine, among other goals.

Your gift to the George J. Dover, M.D., Pediatric Residency Leadership Fund honors Dr. Dover’s legacy and strengthens our pediatric residency program to the enduring benefit of ill and injured children and their families.
