The Division of Pediatric Urology at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center is among the top centers in the nation for primary and reoperative surgery of bladder exstrophy, one of the most severe congenital birth defects. We provide comprehensive and compassionate care to diagnose and treat all childhood urological problems in patients around the world. 

Our highly trained staff, equipped with the most advanced technology, specializes in the treatment of a wide range of conditions. A collaborative group from pediatric radiology, orthopaedic surgery and urology developed a modern 3D MRI-guided imaging tool, which is used during major surgery for newborns to ensure greater safety and accuracy and can also be used to telementor surgeons around the world.
