Dr. Bullard's research interest is in neonatal resuscitation and the use of high-fidelity simulation. She is developing an interdepartmental and multidisciplinary project with obstetrics to simulate delivery room resuscitation that includes faculty, fellows, resident housestaff, nursing, respiratory, and support staff. The project's objectives include individual enhancement of skills in addition to communication and team building.
Dr. Bullard is also involved with developing and implementing quality improvement activities with individual performances and system processes within the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
